There is no doubt that with the recent demise of Red, BSM and What Car? driving schools, the economic downturn is hitting everyone hard. These days when considering driving school adverts, it is often unwise to pay out hundreds for something that may not bring rewards.
However there are many areas where we don't have any instructors, we do however receive enquiries from across the UK. So rather than see these opportunities go to waste, we thought it made perfect sense if we provided an online advert for areas that we didn't cover, but - we were able to set them up with the driving school that did.
Low Cost Advertising
Each driving school pupil is worth on average £800 (40 lessons x £20)
An intensive course can be worth £800 over 7-10 days
If you offer the Guaranteed Pass Course that is worth £1200.
If they then do the Pass-Plus course that is another £140
If they then recommend a friend you have now doubled that amount
Unlike other driving school adverts that require you to pay upfront - We require nothing - Yes NOTHING from you, except for your details.
We only allow a maximum of 3 driving schools per page, you get to put a picture on there, your prices and a biography of you and your driving school. Plus of course the areas that you cover.
We do the rest.
You ONLY PAY WHEN THE PUPIL HAS PHYSICALLY BOOKED ON WITH YOU.
This is usually when they have rang the centre to confirm there booking and a deposit is taking by card to confirm this.
We then pass the pupils details onto you and we call the pupil back to confirm the time and date of the appointment with them and you do the rest.
Once they are in the car, then just like the rest of us, it will depend on your skill and ability to sell youself and your training as being as second to none. The important thing is that the customer has got to meet you and be in your vehicle, the rest is now upto you.
(This by the way is why supermarkets run loss-leaders, you know the can of beans for 20p etc. It is simply to get people INTO the store, because they then know, once inside you'll spend more than you intended to, thus making up for loss of revenue on the can of beans)
Driving School Advertising Rates
We charge on a sliding scale depending on the cost of the lessons they are booking and the "certainty" of the pupil.
If the pupil books :-
Single Lesson = We charge £10
The 1st 4 lessons = We charge £25
8-10 Hours = We charge £30
20+ Hours = We charge £50
Guaranteed Pass Course = £100
But until that work and money is guaranteed you pay nothing! Couldn't be simpler - Paying only when you are earning.
